Teleférico of Quito is a cable car located along the flanks of the Ruco Pichincha volcano. You can have a spectacular view not only of Quito but also of the surrounding mountains topped with snow and the whole natural and ecological environment of parts of the Sierra. Teleférico has 8 cabins, each one with a capacity of 6 passengers; it takes about 12 minutes to get to the top. The cable car rises from 2 950 meters to 4 100 meters above sea level.

TELEFERICO: Its one of the newest attraction of the city of Quito, It was inaugurated on May of 2005. Teleférico is located on Pichincha Volcano at what the quiteños know to be Cruz Loma, is one of the highest and longest cable cars in the world, it ascends from 3117 masl to 4100 masl. The lift last up to 12 minutes.
